Be the Meister is a long-term campaign created and released over a two-year period in collaboration with Wavemaker. 
Rooted in Jägermeister’s rebranding strategy, the campaign celebrates individuality, courage, and creative independence. Through live concert coverage, still imagery, written features, and a series of six mini-documentaries, the campaign explored what it means to stand by who you are and own your path.

THE BRIEF
As part of Jägermeister’s new brand platform “Be the Meister”, Wavemaker brought together a group of artists who are Meisters in their own right.

Each artist embodied the campaign in a unique way.

Our task was to develop a concept that could unite these individual voices into a coherent and engaging universe, while staying true to Jägermeister’s bold brand DNA.






OUR TAKE

We set out to create a series of mini-documentaries and still image series tailored to each artist’s aesthetic, story, and creative energy, while maintaining a consistent tone across the campaign.

Rather than relying on classic sit-down interviews, we wanted to experience the artists in their own environments and capture the raw feeling of their work, their process, and their vibe.

This approach became the foundation of the Jägermeister mini-doc universe: immersive, personal, and driven by authenticity.
